With over 30 years of injection molding expertise, MCM Composites, LLC not only meets exact customer requirements but supports their projects with an array of secondary services. We can provide a combination of injection molding, assembly, and machining for a variety of industries, including the food & beverage industry.

One of our customers in the smoothie machine business required the conversion of a stainless steel mixing chamber into a BMC food grade polyester duplicate. The mixer consisted of 3 separate parts which were to be injection molded, de-flashed, machined, and then assembled to exact specifications. We used a 500 ton injection press to create the 12″ x 12″ x 16″ mixer, followed by a series of automated machining operations that produced tolerances as close as + 0.0015″ Final parts were inspected and confirmed for dimensional accuracy using our rigorous quality control standards. We applied brass inserts throughout the body of each mixer then assembled the upper and lower chambers prior to shipping.

In less than 2 weeks, we were able to duplicate and deliver the mixers to the customer utilizing injection molding, machining, and assembly. Impressed with our results, the customer continues to order mixers at a volume of 3,000 per year.
